I have started to save, sort and upload photos of different themes as a reference. Here are some of my favorites! With Thanksgiving only 2 days away I thought I would start with Turkey!

The traditional handprint turkey is an oldy but a goody! We are creating handprint calendars and this will be for November.

My Winter To-Do List

For my love of lists, this year I am creating a “winter to do list”!

1. Ice skating outside-anywhere
2. Make a ginger bread house
3. Go look at the houses with Christmas decor
4. Hollydazzle parade and hot coco
5. Sledding in the snow
6. Finish my Christmas shopping by December 15
7. Bake homemade cookies
8. Visit a new museum
9. Ski trip
10. Candle Light Dinner
11. Try something new
12. Scrapbook a holiday frame
13. Volunteer
14. Day trip to Duluth-take pictures
15. Run a winter 5K
16. Celebrate with a tasty dinner-new recipe needed for this one ;)
17. Photograph EVERYTHING on this list :)
I might need some motivation for some of these, company would be nice too! Parades, ice skating, skiing and so on just aren’t the same by oneself. Volunteers needed!!!

Home Sick

Home sick with the flu or food poisoning today. NOT fun! It was a good day to stay home though. It's windy, rainy and cold. Roxy had a hard time not blowing away. I have been flu free for about 12 hours but still don't have an appetite and yet have not lost even 1 pound.

Spent most of the day doing laundry to get the sick out and watching law and order re-runs. It's actually pretty addicting.

Back to work tomorrow, it will be a long day.

Memorial Day weekend is almost over and I got a ton accomplished. Removed gravel, replaced with wood chips. Bought steaks, grilled steaks, ate steaks (yum!) Entertained guests, cleaned up after guests. Took a nap, woke up early, slept in late. Walked princess Roxy, cleaned up doggy puke, poo and whatever other messes she creates. Hugged the little alien creature and played tag.

Planted a veggie/fruit garden complete with green beans, carrots, lettuce, blueberries, strawberries and sunflower seeds. Hopefully we didn't take on too much for our first go around. Now we are off to his mom's house for dinner. I just hope she doesn't try and trick me to eat fish again. GRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...not funny, not nice.

So lately I have been thinking about my future. School, work, life. What am I good at? I feel I need a new direction but without a path it has been hard to figure out were to put my feet on the ground and go. I feel like I am on a merry go round and need to jump. This is a lot of I, I, I, I. But without it there will never be a we, us and so on.

My dog is very selfish. She needs constant attention. I love her to pieces and believe she IS the most spoiled dog on the planet but stop wining at me! I know this is what it would be like when or if I have kids. But common!!

I always feel like I have so much to say and yet, when faced with a place to write I draw a blank. What is that about??
